Hot Job: Help Desk Support Specialist

This Help Desk Support Specialist position is at a successful law firm located in the downtown area. This full-time, direct hire position is not your traditional help desk position. There is a lot of diversity in the assigned tasks.  You will be in a position to direct your own workload, as the IT Supervisor works out of the corporate office in Syracuse, NY.

In this role you will respond to help desk inquiries in person from the Buffalo office as well as via email and phone messages from other offices around the state.  Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and configuring workstations for new employees at the firm, and providing basic desk-side support and small training sessions on new technology.

This firm takes technology very seriously, continually investing capital to ensure that they have the best state-of-the-art technology!  This job is meant for someone who has a passion for technology, who loves to learn, and is on top of their IT game!

Two or more years of relevant Help desk experience is required, as well as expert level knowledge of Windows operating system and the entire Microsoft Office Suite.  The salary for this position is highly competitive and an excellent benefits package is included as well.

Some travel will be required of you in this position including a 3-4 day training session at the corporate office in Syracuse, and to assist with special projects throughout the year at other offices in the state.

While this is a professional environment, the attorneys and support staff at the office are very down to earth and pleasant to work with.  Strong interpersonal communication skills are important to succeed in this position, as you will be interacting with the entire office on a daily basis.
