Job Seeker FAQs
How soon can I start working?
Job availability changes on a daily basis. Once the registration process is complete, you will be considered based on your preferences and your skills. We are constantly adding new opportunities to our job board – so be sure to check back often, or sign up for our job alerts!
What exactly are job alerts, and how do I get them?
When you register with us online, you have the opportunity to sign up for job alerts in several different job categories. Once a week, we will email you any new opportunities that have come in for that category.
What is involved in the application process?
The online application process will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. To complete an application, simply apply online here and create an employment profile. You will be asked to provide work history, salary requirements and other details to best match you with current job opportunities. It is very important to provide accurate phone numbers and email addresses to allow our recruiters to contact you.If you have already completed an application with Key Resource Group, you do not need to resubmit your qualifications unless asked to do so (your information will already be in our system). If your information requires updating, please call our office. Our application expires after one year.
How often should I contact your office after registration?
We realize that it is not always convenient for you to check in on a weekly basis; you are simply encouraged to stay in touch with our office so we are aware of your availability. If we do not hear from you in a reasonable time period, we assume you are no longer seeking employment. Our suggestion is to send us an email weekly to let us know you’re still looking. If you find a position on your own, let us know so we can place you in our inactive category.
What if I am not interested in a certain position when it is offered? Is it all right to turn it down?
You betcha! Not every job offer is going to meet the expectations you have. If you are not interested in a position, you are free to decline. We will continue to contact you about new opportunities based on your skills and preferences moving forward.
What if I am on an assignment and decide it is not for me?
If you are on an assignment and find it isn’t going to work for you, we ask that you contact us immediately. You may be asked to stay at an assignment long enough for us to find a replacement, but we will attempt to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. As with any interaction, communication is key. We expect open communication from our employees and they can expect the same from us.
What do I pay for your services?
Not one red cent. All of our fees are employer paid. As an applicant, you will not pay for KRG’s recruiting services.
How can I stay informed about open positions?
Active positions are posted daily on our website job board. You can save searches in the job seeker portion of our website, or sign up for job alerts to receive email notifications as new openings become available.
