Carolyn Gala, CPC, CEO, Owner
Carolyn is the CEO and Owner of Key Resource Group.  She is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the temporary, contract and direct hire operations.  Carolyn has over 22 years of staffing and management experience with a strong emphasis in the legal arena.  She founded and managed a legal placement service that became the area's largest legal specialty staffing firm.  She has been recognized on a number of occasions as one of the top ten recruiters in the country.  In her role as the owner of Key Resource Group, she uses her experience and expertise to hire, train and work with an internal staff of professionals who share her commitment and interest in developing long-lasting client relationships in the Western New York market.

David Ryan, CPA, Sr. Executive Recruiter
David Ryan, CPA has been involved in the staffing industry for over 20 years handling executive level placement and contract staffing in accounting, sales, marketing, and engineering. His primary focus is the fluid power and motion control industries. Prior to his involvement in staffing, David spent 7 years on the audit staff of Price Waterhouse, a position he left to become CFO of one of WNY's largest staffing firms.

Mary Kerr, Healthcare/Administrative Staffing Manager
Mary, a seasoned professional, has over 18 years experience in the staffing industry. During her long career, Mary has served in an assortment of roles from the screening, assignment and management of temporary staffers to the direct hire placement of professional personnel in a broad variety of positions with a multitude of Western New York's finest employers. Karrie Catalano, Legal Staffing Specialist

Karrie has joined our team as a Legal Staffing Specialist. She has close to 15 years experience working in the legal field as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal for several law firms in the Western New York area. With her many years of experience in the legal arena, Karrie prides herself on being able to make “the right connections” between Attorneys, Paralegals, Legal Assistants, and many other types of legal office personnel.

Along with Karrie’s experience she also has a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Buffalo State College, an Associates degree in Business Administration from Niagara County Community College and an Associates degree in Information Processing from Niagara County Community College.

Karrie brings professionalism, sincerity and a smile to Key Resource Group.

Peggy Koch, Legal Staffing Specialist
Peggy is delighted to rejoin the team at Key Resource Group! She brings many years of experience in recruitment and staffing, with a concentration in the legal field. She is a committed professional with a very strong work ethic, and prides herself on being responsive and attentive to both her clients’ and candidates’ needs. Peggy’s great sense of humor and solid understanding of the WNY legal market make her a pleasure to work with. She holds an Associates degree in Applied Science, Marketing from State University of New York, Agricultural and Technical College at Alfred, NY.

Lynn Rizzo Lynn Rizzo, Director of Business Management
Lynn has been strategically partnering with hiring managers in Buffalo and the WNY area for multiple years assisting them with supplying and managing their temporary and direct hire staffing needs. Her success has been built by nurturing and maintaining a strong network of client relationships, understanding the on the job skill sets, and finding the right "personality fit" for long-term success.

Lynn's focus is in temporary, contract, and direct hire placement of Administrative, Accounting, Manufacturing, and Call Center staffing in Buffalo and the WNY area. She is knowledgeable of local market trends and their impact on staffing needs. Lynn has her Bachelor's of Science Degree from the State University of New York College at Buffalo and is pursuing her Professional Certification in Human Resources.

Rachel Tesmer Rachel Tesmer, Staffing Manager

Along with a BA in Communication, Rachel brings many years of specialized staffing experience to the table. She began her career as a Staffing Manager and was promoted shortly after to a Division Director at an International Staffing agency. Her specialty in the industry was staffing temporary and temp-to-hire administrative and office support professionals. Most recently she has been working as a Recruiting Manager in the healthcare industry staffing Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapist on a temporary basis.

Rachel prides herself in her time management skills, customer service skills and making that "perfect fit". In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Patrick and son Blake and daughter Brooke. She is also working on her PHR with an anticipated completion date of December 2010.

Erica Hood, Executive Recruiter/Staffing Specialist

Living in Western New York since the age of 5, Erica considers herself a Buffalo, NY native (go Bills!). She began working in the recruiting/staffing industry over 3 years ago as a Junior Recruiter, moving her way up the ladder to her current position with Key Resource Group as an Executive Recruiter/Staffing Specialist. Erica considers herself a generalist, but she specializes in the fields of Accounting, Administrative/Clerical, IT, Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales. Her motivation is to find the “perfect fit” candidate for her clients and the next “utopia” job for her candidates.

Erica holds her Bachelors degree in Communications from the University at Buffalo and will be continuing her education in the Spring of 2011, pursuing her PHR at Canisius College.
