Carolyn Gala

Carolyn Gala, CPC


Carolyn started in the staffing industry nearly 30 years ago, as an employee with Key Resource Group. Within two years, she was managing the direct hire division and had founded and managed a legal placement division that is still, to this day, WNY’s premier legal staffing service. Within 15 years she became a Partner with KRG, and in 2006 became the sole owner of Key Resource Group.

As President, Peggy brings over 15 years of experience in recruiting to the KRG team, where she specializes in legal placements. Over the years Peggy has become an expert at understanding the needs of her clients and candidates to make that perfect fit. Her favorite part of the job is helping candidates achieve their career goals, while helping clients find the best talent the WNY area has to offer. As she says, “Truly, when we connect candidates that fit our clients’ needs there is nothing more fulfilling.”

If she wasn’t working as a recruiter, Peggy would most likely own a cupcake bakery (she just can’t get over that annoying 4:00am start time), or produce a reality show about the KRG office. A true iPhone addict, Peggy loves searching online news sites for activities and events in Buffalo to attend with her husband and daughter.

Ann Cardena

Senior Executive Recruiter

Ann Cardena brings close to 30 years of management, sales and business development experience to the KRG recruiting team. In her previous life, Ann worked primarily in the travel and hospitality industries, owning her own business and for several Fortune 500 companies. After living in Southern California for a number of years, Ann decided to return to WNY to be closer to family and to take part in Buffalo’s rebirth.

Ann is an excellent communicator and a strategic thinker, always looking towards what the future may hold. She enjoys the challenge recruiting brings in finding the right person for each job. Ann loves how as a Recruiter, she can build relationships with people from all walks of life and from all over WNY. Through her experience with a variety of industries, Ann is able to tap into her unparalleled network of contacts that can open doors like magic.

Monika Ereiz

Monika Ereiz

Staffing Manager

Monika came to KRG with an extensive sales past. She was a Corporate Sales Trainer in Florida for many years, where she traveled the country to train store owners and staff on how to successfully open and run a restaurant. Once moving back to Buffalo, she was a Sales Trainer for an International Insurance Company for six years. She trained new and tenured employees unique selling techniques and how to build trusting relationships with others. She looks forward to her future at KRG and being able to put her sales skills to good use!

Monika was born in Croatia, grew up in Germany, yet calls Buffalo her home. She is a strong communicator and loves listening to people and understanding their own journey. Outside of work, she loves attending concerts and seeing live music, spending time with friends and family and believes in positive energy! She also loves spending time with her cat, Emma.

Kristin Gugino

Kristin Gugino

Staffing Manager

Kristin is a seasoned sales professional with over 15 years of experience in business development, account management, customer service, and staffing. She has an entrepreneurial background and has most recently been in commercial and industrial sales working for a local manufacturer.

A self- proclaimed “people person”, Kristin enjoys getting to know her customers and collaborating with them to help find the best possible product or service to fit their needs. She has become a valued and trusted business partner to her customers, which has helped her build long and lasting relationships.

Kristin is actively involved in several networking organizations including the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, International Facility Management Association, and New York School Facility Association further strengthening her business relationships in the community.

Kristin holds a BA in Communications from Canisius College and currently resides in Williamsville, NY with her husband, two kids, and dog Rocco. When she’s not cheering for her kids’ softball and baseball teams, Kristin enjoys relaxing with family and friends.

Adrienne Faso

Adrienne Faso

Operations Manager

Adrienne is our all-around office all-star. She lends a hand to just about every aspect of our office, and we wouldn’t be nearly as successful without her! Her positive attitude is infectious, and the opportunity to make a difference and change someone’s life daily keeps her (and as a result the rest of us!) motivated. Adrienne began her career in HR, but moved to recruiting to get more person-to-person contact.

Adrienne is a voracious reader, but with 2 young boys, it seems as though the pile of unfinished books on her nightstand only grows. If she wasn’t a recruiter, Adrienne would be a copy editor so she could get her hands on all those manuscripts.

Jessica Chislett

Jessica Chislett

Marketing Coordinator

Before we hired Jessica, she was using the services of KRG to find a job. We loved her so much that we knew we needed to make a spot for her on our team! After 2 years of being our Resource Coordinator, Jessica now handles the majority of our marketing and helps out wherever needed.

Jessica earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from Buffalo State College and uses her creative talents to benefit KRG in any way possible. She was born and raised here in Buffalo and loves seeing WNY grow! Jessica is a big Buffalo Bills fan; you can find her at the Ralph cheering on the team at every home game.
